Brenda Jean Hamilton began her professional career as a Radio City Rockette. She went on to perform with Disney Cruise Lines as well as multiple Equity national tours, eventually appearing on Broadway in Wicked where she understudied the role of Nessarose. Brenda was seen pre-Covid starring as Margaret in Schwob Opera’s production of The Light in the Piazza at the River Center for Performing Arts in Georgia.
Brenda holds a M.M. in vocal performance from Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University, and a B.A. in Performing Arts from Saint Mary’s College of California. She is on faculty at Columbus State University, where she teaches Jazz, Tap, and Class Voice. In addition, she has taught Choreography and Broadway Dance courses at LaGrange College. In her dance and voice classes, Brenda combines industry standards with contemporary teaching methodology.
